Pixellot, VPA Technologies and Football NSW Launch Streaming Service at Sydney’s Valentine Sports Park

VPA Technologies, Pixellot and Football NSW have partnered up to bring high-quality game footage to thousands of Australian amateur players and fans who visit the home of football in NSW, Valentine Sports Park, Sydney.

Through the new web TV platform www.VPASports.TV, fans can view games live and VOD in an interactive format and database, with every single game currently played on Oval 2 at Valentine Sports Park, automatically recorded and archived on VPASports.TV by the Pixellot technology. Introducing Pixellot’s fully automated sports production solution to Football NSW, with Valentine Sports Park having the FIRST Pixellot system in Australia and NZ, sports media specialist VPA Technologies, set out to enable lower league and youth clubs to have access to high-quality content, affordably and effortlessly, all through one single platform. The weatherproof Pixellot camera system is fix-installed currently on the outdoor Valentine Sports Park 2, with plans to install systems on Oval 1 and Oval 3 to cover the entirety of matches played at the brand new 26 million dollar football facility. Smart computer vision algorithms create TV-like footage without human intervention. From the venue, game footage is automatically streamed or uploaded to VPASports.tv, the web TV platform launched by VPA Technologies. The concept of automated, high-quality video production sparked great interest with Football NSW, that is looking to increase the visibility of amateur football while providing important analysis footage for cubs to improve the development of their young players. VPA Technologies ambitious sports venture enjoys the support of Football NSW and will be looking for potential partnerships with founding sponsors who want to be attached to this world class technology and amateur football in NSW. VPA and Football NSW will be launching www.vpasports.tv with a public live stream this Friday the 12th of May at 6pm on Facebook to demonstrate the capabilities of the newly installed Pixellot system, as well as a demonstration of how the platform will operate and function on a week to week basis.
The live stream will be archived on Facebook as well as on the platform “about us” page.
