High School Hooper Goes Viral with Dunk Captured by Pixellot

Kendarius Irvin, a high school basketball player from Birmingham, Alabama, recently made waves on social media with an incredible dunk going viral. The video, which captured Irvin’s Jumpman-logo dunk by Pixellot’s camera, received over 1.5 million views and caught the attention of many basketball fans.

While Irvin’s dunk was the highlight of the video, the high-quality footage captured by Pixellot’s AI-automated sports production system truly made the video stand out. Pixellot’s video technology is used by many high school and youth sports teams, providing coaches and players with detailed footage that helps improve performance on the court.

“It was just crazy to see that big of a number under something that I had posted,” said Irvin when asked about his viral video. His friends and family are excited for him and encourage him to continue his hard work.

Irvin, a student at Shades Valley High School, uses footage captured by Pixellot to review his performances and make adjustments. He said, “I utilize the system to watch the game film and critique my performance once I get home from the games.” High-quality recording, highlight creation, and breakdowns built for the film room are pillars of Pixellot’s service.

The benefits of Pixellot’s video analysis technology are clear, not only for high school athletes like Irvin, but also for young basketball players. Irvin stated, “I think that it could show young players how to improve their games through the use of film breakdown.”

Pixellot’s automated sports production system captured Irvin’s posterizing dunk and helped the clip go viral, but more importantly, Pixellot helped him reach his goals as a basketball player. Irvin hopes to win the state championship this season and earn a chance to play college basketball. With the help of Pixellot, he’s on track.
